The provider NoLimit has been making a name for itself recently. It’s released a string of slots that are packed full of features and are designed to a very high standard. Some of these include Das xBoot, Mental, East Coast vs West Coast and San Quentin xWays - all of these are available to play here at our casino right now.
Evil Goblin is the latest slot by Nolimit City to tick these boxes. It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re after a slot experience that’s engaging, thrilling and potentially very rewarding.
As the slot’s name suggests, its focus is on a bunch of goblins, monstrous creatures from European folklore. The ones in this slot are, frankly, are pure evil. The setting is a darkened cave lit by torches.
The premise is simple: the cave is inhabited by some wicked and malevolent goblins. Their objective is to cause chaos. Armed with explosives, they’re going to get in your way and show you who’s really in charge. Try your best to ward them off, otherwise they may end up feeding on your soul…
Don’t worry - you’re perfectly safe! Evil Goblins may seem unsettling, but it’s actually a really fun slot game to play. It has all sorts of features and has the potential to pay out quite large sums of money.

Carry on reading and we’ll tell you about the symbols and payouts. We’ll then run you through all of the slot’s features.
There are 10 regular symbols in total. To win, three or more matching symbols have to be lined up from left to right anywhere on adjacent reels. Below is a summary of what they are and how much they pay for a line of six with a bet of 1.00:
10: 0.40
J: 0.50
Q: 0.70
K: 0.80
A: 0.90
Goblin with cherry-coloured border: 1.00
Goblin with blue border: 1.10
Goblin with green border: 1.20
Goblin with yellow border: 1.50
Goblin with red border: 3.00
Whenever you win, a cascade takes place. All of the winning symbols disappear and symbols drop down from above to fill empty spaces. If any new winning combinations are formed, another cascade takes place. There’s no limit to how many times this can happen per spin.
As well as the standard symbols, there are some bonus symbols. There’s a wild that can help you win, a scatter and a special xBomb symbol.
First we’ll look at the wild. Look out for the symbol that shows a grey goblin skull. This is the Dead Wild - it’s an inactive wild. If there’s just one or two instances of this symbol, nothing happens.
However, if three or more land, each one changes appearance becomes a Resurrection Wild. This type of wild is active and fills in for all standard symbols. The last one to land comes with a multiplier and is gold in colour. The value of this depends on how many goblin skull symbols there are on screen:
3 Goblin Skulls = x11 multiplier
4 Goblin Skulls = x33 multiplier
5 Goblin Skulls = x55 multiplier
If you manage to get 5 goblin skull symbols, you could end up winning quite a large sum of money.
Every time you spin the reels, four goblins appear above reels 2-5. Each one is represented in one of the slot’s standard symbols. If a goblin symbol matches the goblin at the top of the reel, it turns into a Resurrection Wild.
If all four goblins above reels 2-5 are the same, the Evil 4 feature comes into play. The same goblin appears on a throne above reel 1 and has a multiplier. If a matching goblin symbol lands on the first reel, the multiplier determines how many symbols it counts as. It starts at x4 and increases by x1 every time the goblin on the throne appears as one of the goblins above the reels.
If the multiplier is x4, for example, and the matching goblin symbol lands on the first reel, it counts as four instances of that symbol, not just one. This increases the number of ways to win and can help you form more valuable winning combinations.
Look out for the xBomb symbol. It’s a barrel of dynamite with a lit fuse, so it's not hard to miss. Whenever this symbol appears, all adjacent symbols are removed - scatters, Dead Wilds and Resurrection Wilds stay where they are, however. This causes a cascade to take place. It also increases the slot’s multiplier by x1, causing your wins to be doubled or multiplied even further.
What’s more is that each xBomb symbol adds one row to the slot’s grid. There are three to start off with, and a maximum of four extra ones can be added. If there are seven rows in total, this gives you no fewer than 117,649 ways to win.
This pleasantly named feature is one of two free spins rounds the slot has. To trigger it, at least three scatters have to land - the scatter is a golden spoked shield with ’S' on it in red. For three scatters you earn 8 free spins; for four, you’re awarded 9 spins.
Here’s an overview of what this round has to offer:
Guaranteed Dead Wilds on every spin
Goblin Sacrifice and xBomb features more likely to trigger
Upgrades to Goblin Feast Spins if Evil 4 gets triggered
If the Goblin Feast Spins features comes into play, the multiplier value currently in effect is carried over. If there are five or more free spins remaining, Goblin Feast Spins starts with a multiplier value equal to the number of remaining spins.
For this feature, you get four free spins. The Evil 4 multiplier is active on all spins. If the active goblin appears above the reels, it increases the multiplier by x1 and resets the number of spins to 4. This goblin also remains where it is until the feature’s over. Resets can happen a maximum of four times.
If either of the free spins rounds gets triggered with two xBomb symbols on the reels, the Explosive Mode comes into effect. The free spins round is played out with the added bonus of an xBomb symbol appearing on every spin.
